Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to deliver expert tax training through a supportive team. You will conduct interviews, prepare returns, and help grow client relationships throughout the season.

Ideal candidates hold a Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, CPA or EA certification, and have 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping, or tax. On-site role with flexible seasonal hours and competitive pay.

Qualifications

• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (All certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation)
• Mentor and support teammates
