Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking seasonal Tax Professionals to interview clients, compile and file accurate tax returns, and provide IRS support. You’ll work with a team that trains you to handle diverse tax scenarios while promoting additional products and services.

The role requires CPA/EA certification or progress toward one, a bachelor's in accounting, and experience with complex returns. Training is provided, with emphasis on earning potential through client growth and service excellence.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (notice services and audit representation)
• Mentor and support teammates

Responsibilities

• Interview clients to gather tax information and prepare returns accurately
• Prepare and review individual tax returns and related schedules
• Assist in client growth activities and cross-selling of services
• Provide IRS support and manage notices when applicable
• Mentor junior staff and ensure knowledge transfer
