Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and provide expert training support. You’ll conduct interviews, prepare tax returns, and help grow client relationships with an emphasis on service quality.

The role requires CPA/EA or progress toward certification, a relevant degree, and experience handling individual returns in a fast-paced environment; on-site franchise office setting.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services
• Mentor and support teammates
• Experience completing individual returns
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working with virtual tools – video, phone and chat
• Ability to effectively communicate in person, via phone and in writing
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all other IRS and applicable state requirements
• High school diploma / equivalent or higher
