Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced seasonal Tax Professional to service clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct tax interviews, prepare complete returns, and help grow the client base with IRS support and guidance.

You’ll work with a team to deliver advanced tax training and support, while meeting client expectations in a fast-paced, technology-enabled environment. This role emphasizes in-person and virtual client interactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
