Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will benefit from advanced tax training and work with an expert team to deliver accurate tax returns and IRS support.

You will conduct tax interviews using in-person and virtual tools, prepare returns, and contribute to client growth and retention while providing guidance on tax notices as needed.

Qualifications

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• All certification levels can provide tax notice services
• Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation
• Mentor and support teammates
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients via video, phone, chat, and email
• Prepare complete and accurate individual tax returns
• Support clients with IRS guidance and audit notices
• Mentor and assist teammates in daily tasks
