Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll provide advanced tax training and support to ensure successful tax preparation and client service.

The role involves conducting tax interviews (in-person and virtually), preparing complete returns, and helping grow the business while maintaining client relationships throughout tax season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience preferred.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face-to-face and via virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Aim to generate business growth and increase client retention.
• Provide IRS support and audit notice services as applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.
