H&R Block, Inc. is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal role to service clients with diverse tax needs, backed by an expert team and advanced training.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare accurate returns, and drive client growth while offering additional products and services and providing IRS support. Mentoring teammates and thriving in a fast-paced environment complete the role.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.
• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Experience working in fast-paced environments and with virtual tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
