H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training to ensure success.

In this role you will conduct client interviews in person and virtually, prepare complete returns, and identify opportunities to grow the business while mentoring teammates and delivering IRS support as needed. Applicants should bring strong accounting knowledge, CPA/EA credentials preferred, and the ability to work

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support
