The role focuses on interviewing clients, preparing returns, and offering additional products and services to grow the practice. You’ll operate in a fast-paced environment with emphasis on client service and IRS support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• Experience handling complex returns and tax planning.
• Comfort with virtual tax interviews (video/phone/chat).
• Sales/marketing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients in person or via video, phone, or chat.
• Prepare complete and accurate individual, trust and partnership returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and upsell services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and notices as needed.
• Mentor and support teammates; stay compliant with CE requirements.

Skills

5+ years of experience in accounting,

Experience completing complex returns

Experience conducting virtual taxinter

Experience with tax planning and audit

Sales and/or marketing experience

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

High school diploma / equivalent or higher
