Job summary

H&R Block in the United States is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs and to build lasting relationships with guidance from an expert team.

You will conduct tax interviews (in person and virtually), prepare complete and accurate returns, and identify opportunities to offer additional products and services while providing IRS support and mentoring teammates during peak season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
