H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You will work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to support success.

Role includes conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and driving growth. Candidates should have strong accounting/tax experience and relevant certifications, plus ability to work with virtual tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation as applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates.
