H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training to help you succeed.

You’ll build client relationships that grow stronger every year, conduct tax interviews and prepare complete tax returns, and contribute to business growth and client retention. This role offers competitive pay and the chance to work with virtual tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience
• Must complete continuing education requirement and meet all IRS and applicable state requirements

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
