You will help identify savings opportunities and offer relevant HR Block services, while delivering empathetic, client-centered service in a local in-person office. This role emphasizes strong communication, compliance with IRS/state requirements, and ongoing education.

Qualifications

• Completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• At least 1 year of tax preparation experience with individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client-facing, advisory role.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Interview clients to understand finances and tax implications, then guide them.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notices, and audit guidance as needed.
