Qualifications

• Requires completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client-facing advisory role or consulting.
• Must meet IRS and state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED is required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and explain options to clients.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
