H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare returns, interview clients, and build long-term relationships at a local tax office. You’ll use industry-leading training and technology, and earn an hourly rate with an incentive plan based on your impact and tax expertise.

Responsibilities include handling complex returns, advising clients on tax implications, and delivering consultative service while supporting IRS notices and audits as needed.

Qualifications

• Complete Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1 year of tax prep, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience.
• Client-facing, consultative or advisory experience.
• Must meet continuing education and IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
