H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll deliver expert tax training and rely on a strong support team to ensure accuracy and client service excellence.

The role requires completing tax interviews, preparing returns, and expanding client relationships through added services while meeting IRS requirements and franchise guidelines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
