H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complex client tax returns in person at a local Block office.

You will interview clients, assess financial situations, and provide personalized tax recommendations while reflecting the company’s standards and training. The role emphasizes building lasting client relationships, uncovering savings opportunities, and delivering empathetic, consultative service with access to leading tax software and incentive plans based

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience.
• Experience in client-facing roles and advising clients on tax matters.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in plain language.
• Must comply with IRS/state educational and licensing requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and cross-sell HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
