You will build lasting client relationships while leveraging industry-leading training and technology in a local in-person office. Responsibilities include preparing returns for individuals and businesses, conducting client interviews, and offering personalized tax advice, supported by an incentive plan

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• Must meet IRS and state requirements and complete continuing education.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Deliver empathetic, consultative service and support office clients.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
