Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to join our local office. You will prepare complete and accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex situations, including individuals and businesses, while conducting in-depth client interviews to tailor recommendations and uncover tax savings opportunities.

You will build trusted client relationships through empathetic, consultative service and provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields including individual and business returns
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts simply
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations
