Job summary

H&R Block in Charleston, WV seeks an experienced, in-person Seasonal Tax Professional to prepare accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses and interview clients to tailor recommendations.

You will build trusted client relationships, identify savings opportunities, and provide IRS support as needed, supported by extensive training and technology. This is a seasonal, on-site role offering an hourly rate and incentive plan.

Qualifications

• 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping experience including individual and business returns
• Client-facing or advisory experience preferred
• Must meet IRS/state requirements and complete CE

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and provide recommendations
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed
