Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to serve clients at a local tax office in West Virginia. You will prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, and conduct in-depth client interviews to tailor recommendations.

You’ll build trusted relationships, identify tax savings opportunities, provide IRS support and audit guidance, and collaborate with a team to maintain a positive, client-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, able to explain tax concepts clearly
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required
