You will interview clients, identify savings opportunities, and provide personalized recommendations in a fast-paced, in-person tax office environment. Ideal candidates have 1+ year of tax preparation or related experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to explain tax concepts clearly.

Qualifications

• H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment completed.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation or related experience (individual and/or business returns).
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex scenarios.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations and tax implications.
• Provide clear, personalized recommendations and build trusted client relationships.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.
