Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced tax training.

You will conduct client tax interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the business by strengthening client relationships and cross-selling services. A background in accounting/tax with CPA/EA credentials is preferred, with 5+ years of experience in the field and the ability to work with virtual tools in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or EA certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• Experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax for 5+ years.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (notice services and audit representation where applicable)
