H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll work with an expert team and receive advanced tax training to succeed.

This role focuses on conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, and offering additional services to grow the client base. Preferred candidates have a strong background in accounting/finance, 5+ years of relevant experience, and CPA/EA certification.

Qualifications

• Must conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for various entity types.
• Demonstrate experience with individual returns and IRS support.
• 5+ years of accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax experience.
• Experience with virtual interviews and client communication.
• CPA or EA certification preferred and continuing education compliant.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and via video, phone, chat or email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns for individuals and entities.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention and upsell services.
• Provide clients with IRS support and audit representation where applicable.
• Mentor and support teammates to ensure quality work.
