H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs. You will be supported by a specialist team and receive advanced tax training for success.

The role requires CPA/EA certification or progress toward it, and extensive experience in tax preparation, consulting, and client service. Prior success in a fast-paced environment with virtual tools is preferred.

Qualifications

• Candidates must have or obtain CPA/EA certification.
• Experience handling complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Comfort with virtual tax interviews and digital tools.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support (certification levels can provide tax notice services; Circular 230 associates can provide audit representation)
