H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to service clients with diverse tax needs and deliver advanced tax training. You’ll conduct interviews, prepare returns, and help grow the client base while working within an expert team.

The role emphasizes in-depth tax knowledge, the ability to operate with virtual tools, and adherence to IRS/state requirements, with a focus on delivering high-quality service during tax season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
• Mentor and support teammates.
