H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs. You will conduct interviews face to face and virtually, prepare accurate returns, and support clients with IRS matters.

The role emphasizes building relationships, delivering advanced tax training, and collaborating with an expert team to drive client satisfaction and retention during the busy season.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field is required.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification preferred.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Education

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field

CPA or Enrolled Agent certification

Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)

5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax

Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
