H&R Block is seeking an experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal role to assist clients with diverse tax needs. You’ll join an expert team and receive advanced tax training to support clients’s financial decisions.

Responsibilities include conducting tax interviews, preparing returns, driving client growth, and offering additional services while providing IRS support. A strong background in accounting or tax is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support.
