H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with diverse tax needs and to deliver exceptional service under the guidance of an expert team.

You will conduct tax interviews, prepare tax returns, and help grow the practice by offering additional products and services. This role requires strong communication skills, experience with virtual interviews, and compliance with IRS and state requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support (audit representation where applicable).
• Mentor and support teammates.
