H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to help clients with diverse tax needs.

You will work with an expert team and receive advanced training to deliver accurate returns and strategic advice. This role emphasizes interviewing clients using in-person and virtual tools, preparing complete tax returns, and growing the practice by building relationships and offering additional products and services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience preparing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates
