H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare returns, interview clients, and advise on tax savings. This local in-office role emphasizes building trusted client relationships and delivering clear, personalized guidance with support from industry-leading training and tech.

You will handle diverse individual and business tax scenarios, provide IRS assistance and audit guidance as needed, and collaborate with a team to maintain a client-focused office environment.

Formación

• Successful completion of the HR Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping including individual and business returns.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent required.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse and complex tax situations, including individual and business returns.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand financial situations, life changes, and tax implications; provide clear, personalized recommendations.
• Build trusted client relationships by delivering empathetic, consultative service and identifying tax savings opportunities and relevant HR Block products.
• Provide IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team members, share knowledge, and contribute to a positive, client-focused office environment.
