Job summary

H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses, conduct client interviews, and identify tax savings opportunities using our training and technology.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related fields.
• Experience in a client facing, consultative role.
• Strong verbal and written communication; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must complete continuing education and meet IRS/state requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with diverse situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and implications.
• Build trusted client relationships and identify tax savings opportunities.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive client-focused office.
