Job summary

H&R Block is seeking an Experienced Tax Professional for a seasonal, in-person role at a local tax office. You will prepare accurate returns for individuals and businesses, interview clients to understand their financial situations, and identify tax savings opportunities using our training and technology.

You’ll build trusted client relationships, provide IRS support and audit guidance as needed, and collaborate with the team to maintain a positive, client-focused office environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of tax preparation experience including individual and business returns.
• Experience in client-facing, consultative roles.
• Ability to explain tax concepts in client-friendly language.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
