H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to assist clients with complex tax situations and maximize savings through expert preparation and advisory support. This in-person role at a local H&R Block tax office emphasizes client service and accurate returns.

You will conduct in-depth interviews, deliver personalized recommendations, and help clients navigate IRS notices while collaborating with a supportive team and leveraging our training and technology to grow your tax

Qualifications

• Complete the H&R Block Tax Knowledge Assessment.
• 1+ year of experience in tax preparation, accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Experience in a client-facing, consultative, or advisory role.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; explain tax concepts clearly.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education and requirements.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for individuals and businesses.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess finances and tax implications.
• Provide personalized recommendations and identify savings opportunities.
