H&R Block is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs and to benefit from advanced tax training from our expert team.

You will conduct tax interviews (in person and via virtual tools), prepare complete and accurate returns, and support business growth while mentoring teammates.

CPA/EA or accounting degree is preferred, with 5+ years in accounting or tax to succeed in this fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification.
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership).
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax.
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews.
• Experience with tax planning and audit support.
• Sales and/or marketing experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns.
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services.
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates.
