H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal, experienced Tax Professional to serve clients with diverse tax needs, supported by an expert team and advanced training. You’ll conduct tax interviews and prepare complete returns while helping grow the business and maintaining IRS compliance.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in accounting or related field, and CPA/EA certification with 5+ years in tax or accounting. Experience with virtual interviews and tax planning is a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field
• CPA or Enrolled Agent certification
• Experience completing complex returns (individual, trust, partnership)
• 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, bookkeeping or tax
• Experience conducting virtual tax interviews
• Experience with tax planning and audit support
• Sales and/or marketing experience

Responsibilities

• Conduct tax interviews with clients face to face and through virtual tools – video, phone, chat, email
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns
• Generate business growth, increase client retention, and offer additional products and services
• Provide clients with IRS support
• Mentor and support teammates

Skills

Experience completing complex returns

5+ years experience in accounting/tax
