You will interview clients to understand financial situations and provide personalized recommendations while delivering empathetic, consultative service. Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience in tax preparation or related field.
• Experience preparing individual and business returns.
• Strong communication and client-facing skills.
• Must meet IRS/state continuing education requirements.
• High school diploma or GED / equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for clients with complex tax situations.
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to assess financial situations and tax implications.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and promote H&R Block products.
• Provide IRS support and audit guidance to clients as needed.
• Collaborate with team and maintain a client-focused office environment.
