H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Experienced Tax Professional to help clients navigate complex tax situations with confidence. You’ll prepare returns, interview clients, and deliver personalized recommendations using Block’s training and technology.

In-person role at a local H&R Block office in Ohio. You’ll build relationships, uncover savings opportunities, and contribute to a supportive, client-focused team with a competitive hourly rate and incentive plan.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Experience in tax preparation or advisory roles.
• Must complete continuing education and IRS/state requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare complete, accurate tax returns for diverse situations (individual and business).
• Conduct in-depth client interviews to understand finances and tax implications.
• Provide clear recommendations and identify tax savings opportunities and relevant products.
• Offer IRS support, tax notice assistance, and audit guidance as needed.
• Collaborate with team to maintain a client-focused office environment.
