Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support.

No prior tax experience required; you’ll learn on day one and build client relationships while uncovering tax savings opportunities and recommending products. The role offers an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you gain tax knowledge.

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
