H&R Block is hiring a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients to gather information, prepare tax returns with training from experienced teammates, and explain tax information in clear terms, while building strong client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required; you'll earn a competitive hourly rate and have opportunities to increase your earnings as you gain knowledge during tax season.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer-facing or service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving and ability to organize information.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations clients can understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions with guidance.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork and client-first approach.
