H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local H&R Block tax office. No prior tax experience is required, as training and support are provided from day one.

You will interact with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions while building valuable skills and client relationships. You will earn a competitive hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge and grow in the role.

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service environment.
• Strong communication, ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills with ability to organize information and find solutions.
• Familiarity with AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with guidance from teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide client-friendly recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products.
