H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Kentucky. You will gather client information, prepare tax returns with support from experienced teammates, and explain tax details in clear terms while identifying savings opportunities.

Training is provided from day one to help you grow in the role. Strong communication and client-service skills are essential, with flexibility to work during tax season, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course or equivalent training
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly
• Problem-solving skills including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Address client questions and unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
