Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Kentucky. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

You’ll earn a competitive hourly rate and gain tax knowledge to grow in the role. No prior tax experience is required; training starts day one, and you’ll work directly with clients to complete returns and provide clear explanations.

Qualifications

• Experience interacting with customers in a service-focused environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving and ability to organize information.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products and services.
• Address questions or unique situations with guidance and resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
