You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with guidance from experienced teammates. You’ll explain tax details clearly, identify savings opportunities, and build strong client relationships.

No prior tax experience is required; training starts day one and earnings are competitive hourly pay with potential for growth as tax knowledge increases.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills including organizing information and identifying solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources.
