Job summary

H&R Block, Inc. is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You will meet with clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with support from experienced teammates.

You will explain tax information clearly and identify potential savings opportunities, while building strong client relationships. No prior tax experience is required as training is provided, and you can earn an hourly rate with opportunities to increase earnings as tax knowledge grows

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment.
• Strong communication skills to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
