Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns with training from experienced teammates. You’ll explain tax concepts clearly and identify savings opportunities while building relationships with clients.

You don’t need prior tax experience—training and ongoing support are provided to help you grow in the role and earn competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

• Experience in service-oriented roles or customer interactions.
• Clear communication and the ability to explain information.
• Problem-solving skills with information organization.
• Comfort using digital tools including AI-based assistants.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
