Job summary

H&R Block is hiring a Seasonal Tax Associate to work in-person at a local tax office in Massachusetts. You will meet clients, gather information, and prepare tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates.

You will explain tax information clearly, identify savings opportunities, and address client questions while building strong relationships. The role offers an hourly wage with potential earnings growth as tax knowledge increases, and requires 15–40 hours per week

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills and ability to explain information clearly
• Problem-solving and organizational abilities with data gathering
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based assistants like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma or GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
