H&R Block is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to start your career in tax and client services with training from day one. You’ll meet with clients, gather information, and prepare returns in person at a local tax office.

No prior tax experience required; you will learn, earn competitive hourly pay, and have opportunities to increase earnings as you build knowledge. You will work in a team-oriented, client-first environment during peak tax season.

Formación

• Successful completion of the HR Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers or clients in a service-oriented environment
• Strong communication skills, including explaining information clearly and asking questions to understand needs
• Problem-solving skills, including organizing information and identifying solutions
• Comfort using digital tools and systems including AI based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT
• High school diploma / GED / equivalent

Responsabilidades

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support from experienced teammates
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations in a way clients can easily understand
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services
• Apply problem-solving skills to analyze client information and address questions or unique situations with guidance and available resources
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork, collaboration, and a client-first approach
