H&R Block is seeking a Seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services with hands-on training from day one. You’ll work directly with clients in person at a local H&R Block tax office to gather information and prepare returns.

No prior tax experience is required; you’ll earn a competitive hourly rate and have opportunities to increase earnings as you build tax knowledge during peak periods.

Qualifications

• Completed H&R Block Income Tax Course
• Experience interacting with customers in a service-oriented environment
• Clear, effective communication and ability to ask questions to understand needs
• Strong problem-solving with information organization
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based systems
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather tax information and understand their situation
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend products and services
• Apply problem-solving to analyze information and address questions
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork
