H&R Block in Wisconsin is seeking a seasonal Tax Associate to start a career in tax and client services. No prior tax experience required; with training from day one you’ll work with clients to gather information, prepare returns, and answer questions in person at a local office.

Meet clients, prepare accurate returns with support, identify savings opportunities, explain tax information clearly, and build lasting client relationships through teamwork and a client-first approach during the tax

Qualifications

• Completion of the H&R Block Income Tax Course.
• Experience interacting with customers in a service environment.
• Strong communication skills; ability to explain information clearly.
• Problem-solving skills; ability to organize information and identify solutions.
• Comfort using digital tools and AI-based tools like Copilot and ChatGPT.
• High school diploma / GED or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Meet with clients to gather information and understand their tax situation.
• Prepare complete and accurate tax returns with training and support.
• Explain tax information clearly and provide recommendations to clients.
• Identify tax savings opportunities and recommend relevant products and services.
• Analyze client information and address questions with guidance and resources.
• Build strong client relationships and support office priorities through teamwork.
